Opinions Requested

So, fellow Bimmer owners, I have a question for you all. For those of you with the M-TEC kit (the one from Ticher, they're on sale right now) are you satisfied? Was it worth it? Can I just take my car to any European Body shop? I am torn between getting some tinting or M-Tech because I'm poor. I was going to do tints (I'm in Tucson and it's hot), but I saw a guy with SG and full M-Tech and a CF boot lip and it just looks so good. So, best and brightest, opinions?

You cant be that broke. Tints are a couple hundred and the M kit is much more. Get both. If you can afford the m-kit painted and installed an extra couple hundred on tints wont kill you.

Seriously, that's apples and oranges...tints are $200-$250 and a full Mtech kit installed will be 3-4 times that

When you say the MTech kits are on sale now do you mean less than the $1150 + shipping?

Yep, that's the advertised price. I also probally forgot to mention that I'm a semi-broke ass college student. I can afford both, but there may be other uses (gasp, I know) of my money. I think I'm just going to get tints, and then the M-Tech a little later.

So, my question is, what tint will not affect my Garmin GPS and sat-nav, and which is the best. I'm thinking Pinnacle F1, but here (in Tucson), it's around 320 installed. However, I may just get some cheaper ones, since I park in a garage anyways and I just want it to look darker.
