So, there are no 18" CSL wheels which fit the LCI e90 without spacers ?

After searching and searching I came to the conclusion that no one makes 18" CSL wheels for the e90 LCI (that fit without spacers). I am not sure that even 19" CSLs exist that fit perfectly on the e90 facelift.

I read the ideal e90 LCI offset for 265/35R18 is ET40. No one seems to make these...only the ET33 for pre-facelift e90 which does not fit the facelift.

Or maybe someone can prove me wrong ?

EAS has them in ET 40 for the front and ET 45 in the rear for staggered fitment...perfect offsets for the LCI

I think these are perfect for e46, not for LCI. The LCI has 8mm (?) more width on each side, so if ET33 is perfect for e90 pre-LCI, then ET41 would be perfect.
VMR also has ET45 but it is not considered perfect for LCI.

Or am I wrong ?

Depends on what you consider ideal? No CSL's that I know of are made in 18x9.5 ET 40 fitments. VMR (which is the link I posted) I believe came out with the set up I mentioned specifically for the LCI. Now if you want to push the wheels even further out, you can go with a 5 or 10 mm spacer (bringing the wheels to a 40 ET and 35 ET respectively) for an aggressive set up but it's my understanding that the 40 ET front/45 ET rear is the standard set up for LCI.

For example, here is a thread where a member has 9.5" wide wheels with ET 45 on an LCI E90 and it's nearly perfectly flush without any fender rolling, spacers or other modifications..

Looks a bit tucked it...but not bad.

I read somewhere that the BMW Performance 19" wheels are ET39...but I don't know what width they are (I suppose the width does matter).

Width on the BMW Performance wheels is 9", hence the difference in off-sets. Like I said though, if you get a 9.5" wheel with ET 45 and put a 5 mm spacer you should be right where you want to be. Good luck! I'm going through the same decisions myself as I shop for wheels for my LCI..

MassBimmer has it right on the money. A +45 is what we recommend for a 9.5" wide wheel. 5mm spacers are easily sourced and relatively inexpensive as well if you want a more aggressive look.

The "perfect" fitment for any car is rather subjective. It really depends on what a particular person defines as perfect. I gather you are seeking the lowest offset without having to roll the fenders. The problem with seeking this type of fitment is that tire profiles change drastically from manufacturer to manufacturer. This means, the perfect offset may only work for certain tires, and may actually rub with other brand/model tires. In light of that, I feel the 9.5" +45 is the safest bet. It will allow you to have full wheel/tire travel without rubbing , a wide choice of tires, and still be as close to the fender as possible on a LCI model.

Just an idea... Why not get 18x8.5 ET35 all around?
You can put 255/35/18 rears on an 8.5" rim, but 265s is probably too much.

for what it's worth I just installed 19x9.5 et42 265/30/19 wheels on w/ a 20mm spacer with rubbing only with 2 passengers in the rear on a bump<that's a run on With the 10mm spacers effectively putting the offset at 32mm there is 0 rubbing.

btw the tires are the falken 452's and the car is an 09 328i

I wonder if 275/35/18 tires would fit the 18" VMR VB3's which have 9.5" width ? People is generally using 265 in the back, is 275 too much ? Especially with "only" 235 in front ? I am thinking that they should fill the remaining ET45 "gap" and also provide more traction which I would really need.

I suppose asking for a picture of 275/35/18 tires installed on an e90 is too much ?

I only have this shot and not of the offset, but this is when I was running 275/30/19 dunlop direzzas in the rear w/ 245/35/19 in the front. These wheels are 19x8.5 et40 19x9.5 et42

This is a 18x9 et30 w/255/35/18 setup in the rear with room to spare
