if you're looking for restaurant style bbq food then you should try bison county on moody st in waltham, blue ribbon in newton or arlington is awesome (beef brisket sandwhich) or soulfire on harvard st in allston.

if your looking for a restaraunt i wood second blue ribbon and also village smokehouse in brookline. if your looking for a place to bbq urself in public then the only one i know of is arsenal park in watertown thats local.

I'll second Bison County. A guy I go tailgating with for Pats games works there. Good food.

Another option is Red Bones in Davis Square.

Texas Road House is good. Tennessee BBQ in Peabody is excellent.

Then watertown Arsenal park is the only one i know of that still has bbqs you can actually use

arsenal park has built in ground bbqs you can use just bring charcoal and your good they have benches a huge field bball court swings whatever you need
