The price is whatever on the falkens, the quality of the ride is excellent, I never said anything negative about that. Its the quality and the "life" the tread has. Especially if the car is dropped say good bye to the tread. The reason is the camber of the BMW and "weight," of the car. The 3 series alone is heavy for its size. Falken tires are soft tires they are basically cheap performance tires. Dont get me wrong, my car is quicker off the line with the falkens, but i have more control of my car with the Bridgestone runflates believe it or not. Anyways, falkens are good cars for light vehicles in my opinion (porsche, sti, evo, s2k) I think the best tires for the 3 series is Toyo tires or Generals, PS2's are too expensive. not worth it.

I used to run RT615 (Azenis) on my 350z and they are BETTER than PS2's for dry performance. Didn't have any problems in water or with noise either. Great tire. Haven't used the 452 but I hear good things, especially for the price.

I've heard that Generals last longer that Falkens but I've also heard Generals make a lot more noise than Falken. I've read a lot of good things about both tires but I think I'd prefer Falkens. They look sportier too.
My only problem is whether to go 235 or 245 up front. Would the understeering be that bad? |

I'm running a similar setup to your proposed setup: 19x10 et33 275/30 Falken fk452. Im running my coilovers on a pretty stiff dampening setting to avoid rubbing. As you can see, its sits nice and flush.
