Error with LED license plate light

Is there anyway to connect a resistor by wrapping it on both ends of the terminal without soldering? I have the UHP LED license plate lights. Love the look but still get a brief error on the dash upon start up.

Anyone know which resistor value to get if this is even possible?

Just get Rd led lights. Easy swap and no errors!
