high mileage 320ds

Chaps,
A friend of mine is looking to buy a BMW. hes got a limited budget so has been looking at some high mile 55 plate 320ds.

Just wonder what to watch out for with those sort of cars?

Also he saw one at cargiant. I've never heard anything good about those guys so would appreciate some feedback on this also.

As with most high mile cars:

Turbo problems.

Clutch judder at low rpms possible wear to the duel mass flywheel.

Well high mileage cars would typically present a car that has seen a lot of motorway miles, therefore not thrashed about. So maybe get a decent test drive out of it. Also to make sure of a full service history as well.

You obviously haven't seen my high miler - hopefully nobody on here will be buying it once I've done with it.

Its also got full BMW S/H.
