Just Saw...
A New 335I E90 on a flatbed - car still had temp plates on it - makes me wonder how much time I have on my fuel pump. Just hit 3,000 miles and no long starts.... yet.

i have 38.000 miles on original fuel pump. no problems at all.

~37k no problems, first pump. PROcede (started with v2) at around 4-5k miles, very hard driven... 93 octane gas for me.

makes me wonder if the JB3 / JB+ has something to do with all this.... no fuel control like the procede. I have no tune yet... but this makes me wonder for sure. What do you guys run?

Running JB3 since it came out, 30,000 miles on original pump and no problem...

i run as well JB3 map 7 for 10K no problems.

2800 miles and my HPFP is on its way out
Thinking of cranking up my JB+ to 100% and killing it on purpose. I'd rather choose when it dies than have it die on me downtown during rush hour traffic. Any thoughts on this idea? |

But you live on the wrong continent. It doesn't seem to happen there, only here we are. Mine died at 18K miles.

It happens here too but very very few affected. Probably quality of gas plays a big role on this.
