I don't think rich people are that stupid. If someone clunked some of the cars mentioned, I'm sure the dealer just smiled, gave $4,500 off the the Prius he sold and then turned around and made $20K profit on the resale of the Bently.

List is BS

Yeah, seems far fetched to me too. I'd like to see how someone clunkered a 2007 GMC Acadia? Unless the thing was a totaled and barely driveable, it is certainly worth more than $3,500 or $4,500.

But it sure seems to me that there are far too many cars on that list that are worth far more than the $3,500-$4,500 clunker rebate.

I dont know much about the program but the list is pretty ublieveable. I call BS I have to meet the people that would trade in running Aston martins and Bentleys for $4,500.00

That Bentley in the list is worth at LEAST $60k in todays trade in market. Hell theres one on Ebay for like $120k ya I think not.
