BMW Car Club of Great Britain

To join the above club costs £45. Is it worth the money?

The club website states:-

"Club members benefit from discounts on parts at most BMW dealers and increasingly discount on servicing as well. These discounts alone would pay for your annual Club membership fee."

Are these discounts readily available from BMW Dealers for spares and servicing and what sort of percentage do they give?

Has anybody experience of the club and is it worthwhile to be a member?

You should contact a member called Nick Wright on here, who runs part of the BMW Car Club. Lovely guy, runs all the BMWCC track days...

The 10% saving on parts and the saving on insurance cover the membership cost, pay by direct debit and I think it comes out at about £35 / year

It's £45 reducing to £40 if you do a DD - the glossy club mag is worth that alone!

...but it 'aint about saving money - that's what 'moneysupermarket.com' is for.

It's a people club, we do car stuff and have a great time doing it - from a monthly real ale and chips night to exclusive hire of the Nurburgring - it's got way more going for it than 10% off your spark plugs.
