GM Closes Saturn

Looks like this car dealer guy, Penske had a plan to import Renault cars and stick Saturn badges on them. Nissan (being 44% owned by Renault) threw a fit as it would cannibalize their sales and the deal was off.

Remarkable that Penske did not have another plan. Sad that one of the most friendly and affectionate brands to ever be conceived is being put into the bin. They had some really good cars.

Well, maybe a good time to add that nice Opel Astra into my "Small cars that iam really considering buying list"
