Procede removal for dealership visit.
I have to service the POS after a very long time of having it, two months. The car is having long cranks and i am thinking it is the hpfp but what do i know? nothing. So im having a friend who is a BMW mechanic bring it to his dealership to have it serviced, once again after 2 whole months of having this brand new 60k car.
I have the Rev 1 procede installed , i took the chip out and put the caps that came with the procede onto the connectors of the pnp harness. I then started the car and i am now in limp mode and the car is saying engine malfunction What did i do wrong? What can i do to make it right? Do i need to remove the V3 pnp harness? I disconnected the battery during the de-install. Please advise ASAP. Thanks |

But if you are going in for service, you should remove the entire harness anyway. Shiv |

Did you buy your V3 PNP second hand? If you did, there are two bypass plugs. One for V1 and another with V3. You plug in the V1 Bypass plugs, you'll probably have a problem. Not a big deal (no harm done).
You may have to completely uninstall the Procede now.... |

Obscuring stuff you've done to your car is dishonest and will actually impede the troubleshooting process.
If the Procede is to blame for your problem, step up and take responsibility. If it's not, but the dealer says it is, make him prove it. Just saying... Dan |
