F'n hit & run...

Coming out to my car after some bball at 24 Hr fitness, and I see this! Of course, the asshole didn't leave a note. Gonna review the security tapes at the gym Monday, but not holding out any hopes of catching the guy.

So my question is, (and I know it's a crappy cell phone pic), is this something that can be "fixed" or would it be better to just replace the bumper?

Any recommendation of a good body shop around the Riverside/OC area is appreciated as well. Yes I have searched and plan on calling OC Bumper & Body, A-One Auto Body, and Sterling tomorrow for estimates.

If you're paying out of pocket, I'd look up longtran! He'll order the m-tech for you, paint it, and all you gotta do is pay for it, goto his house, and he'll swap it out just like that.

Thanx guys for all your support. Yeah basically I want to get it repaired "as new," so I didnt bother trying to pop it out I know for sure the plastics will have a crease in it still.

If I need to get a new bumper OEM or M-tech, it'd be more than $500 right? Cuz that's how much my deductible would be. I'll hit up Long and see what's up.

Just got an estimate from Holmes Body Shop in Riverside, the whole experience was kinda shady...the guy was telling me I'll have to pay out of pocket for labor difference because Geico doesn't pay labor well, and he also suggested that i can claim to have my front bumper and hood painted (got some scratches) and tell the insurance I was in a sand storm...

Looks like I'll need to have it replaced. Anyone got a spare OEM bumper?

New would cost more I think. $500 is how much it would cost to fix at a bodyshop.

Looks like that was done purposely. How else could you have been hit from the side and the back?

here's what happened to me, hit and run too...cost me $500 and some change, since my deductible is $500, so i just paid out of my pocket, not have to deal with insurance..
