e91 problem Mycar led angeleyes

Hi guys,
After approximately driving one year with the Mycar led angeleyes provided by JLEVISW for my e91, i’m having troubles with it.

As you can see on the pic, the ledlight on the left/drivers side is suddenly very dimm/yellowish.
The right side works fine.
It looks very dull right now.

what can I do about it, or do i have to contact JLEVISW?

I have had the problem b4. I just switched to piaas altogether. You can try contacting JLEVISW for a replacement..

i had a problem with the mcarr angels as well. but for me it was a error code. i ended up switching to lux 4. longtran also had the error code message when he helped install it for someone. and i also know of a few members who had the problem your having. i guess they never fully fixed their units.

i had the same problem with two sets except it happens right when I install it.. I thought it was the headlight and it is not. My one side is really bright perfect...and the other is dim. I sent back the first set, they send me another one and same problem. I've given up on MyCarr and getting my money back too much hassle and I've paid for shipping. Now I'm just looking for better "eyes"..

I had the same problem too...about a year after installing them half of one side went out. I got my replacement and they don't really match anymore because now the other side is starting to dim. Which angel eyes last longest??? It's a pain switching them in and out

My first set also dimmed and turned yellow. Got replacement from Jlevisw, and now the other side is yellow. I'll be contacting Nick again.

update

I replaced the broken led at the drivers side, but after that there was a major colour difference between this new one and the old one at the passengers side.
Nick of Jlevi send me also a new one for this.

I made an appointment with the dealer to install it, but a couple of days before bringing my car I had to cancel it because the 'new' one is dead again
well not complete dead, but the light it is very, very dimm.

My confidence in these mycar angel eyes leds is very low now...
Nick offered me (with a nice discount) to try their new angel eyes, but I’m afraid of new problems in the future.

So can guys advices me which angels eyes to get.
I like them bright white (like the audi leds) easy install, long lifetime and trouble free
Maybe RacingDash or lux? (where to get lux?)

Any help appreciated!

It seems like there are some inconsistencies with your current LED angels which is not a good sign.

I would recommend the LUX plug-n-play angel eyes since the quality control is much better. You can contact mds82 for more info

Hey Yester,

I am sorry the MyCarr have been such an issue for you. They have proven to be less reliable than we had hoped so we are carrying a new brand which we have tested to be brighter and more reliable than the MyCarr brand. We are still honoring warranties for the MyCarr setup even though the manufacturer does not cover it but for those that are having troubles with the MyCarr kits, we are offering discounted sets of the WeissLicht brand if you would like a better setup.

I think you will be happy with the WeissLicht, we had a couple of local customers install these and they loved the output compared to the MyCarr setup. We are working on a comparison photo thread to help you decide as well.
