How's this for a virgin post: I've got a 06 325i (No Nav, no Idrive) with sat. prep and CD changer prep. Aux. in center console no USB. I've spend THOUSANDS of hours researching this site and the entire internet, (I believe I've found the end of the internet in my search and you don't want to go there!) and haven't found 1 person or car where this has been done!

I'm trying to find a 1st gen Iphone interface that will charge the phone, allow me to play tunes from the phone and display on the Professional radio (stock unit) and allow for steering wheel button control (i.e change the songs , playlist, artist, etc...) Car has bluetooth installed and it works fine!

I've searched Ipod-Iphone interface, retrofit, upgrade, Nothing, Nada! I'm starting to think it's not possible in this car!

I've looked at DICE/Blitzsafe adapters that plug into the CD changer and fool the radio into thinking it's satellite radio so it will display on the head unit, but those devices work in 05's but not 06'.

I'd also like to add a USB but would settle on an Iphone displaying on the head unit. The phone does display for calls and address book on the head unit but not for music. As Peter Frampton said "Show me the Way!
