Two Tone paint job?
So, What I can say is I love black. However, my car is TiAG. I will be eventually purchasing an M-Tec rear bumper, not sure about the front. Possibly the front bumper as well. Do you think there is a way to do this tastefully, mildly and still look clean? I am looking to get a CF hood/trunk as well as black rims.

I was thinking maybe the outside edges of the hood as well as part of the fenders/top of the bumpers so everything blends in and doesn't leave sharp corner edges from black to silver. I can't really put a visual together though.

Holy smokes, thats exactly what I'm talking about. With a couple minor changes. I would change the bmw roundel to CF to help it blend in, as well as some gloss or matte kidney grills, and I would like to see what the splitters would look like unpainted with that setup as well as some black wheels and no painted roof. Also your clear corners i'd change to some other color i'm not sure.

idk, I thought it would look good when my car was TiAG but as soon as the CF hood went on, I immediately regretted it. I think the contrast is too great but that's just my opinion.
But if you're talking the whole top half one color and bottom half another with a line going right down the middle then that = ![]()

i'd go with just the roof black... set it off with some matte black wheels... matte black grill.
I think doing the hood and trunk is too much... Why not think of a vinyl wrap for a while? At least that way, you can have it on for a while and remove it if you think it looks bad or get sick of it. |
