Brand new KW springs 0 miles. I swapped them out of a V3 set for custom springs. If you're buying a used set of KW coilovers, consider a refresh! Compatible with all e90/e92 KW versions (refer to spring rate sticky in suspension forum).

$150 shipped

I bought KWV1 coilovers from a e92 for my e90 and the e90 ones go lower. If i swapped the springs from these e92 coilovers would I be able to go as low as the e90 coils go?

Although the springs are compatible for both e90/e92, I am not unsure which component in the coilovers determine the overall lowering height.

Per KW's website:
V1 E90 P/N 1022032 Front 1.2-2.3" Rear 0.9-2.1"
V1 E92 P/N 1022047 Front 0.8-2.0" Rear 0.6-1.8"

So you are correct that the E90 version has greater drop, but sorry, I don't know which component determines that. Something related to the 'adjustable perch?'

I do know in my e90, my rears were slammed w/ still 1" of adjustment left to go, and the front had about 1" gap w/ 1" left to drop too.
