Fingerprinting is BS from my experience. The prints have to be crystal clear and in perfect condition. When they broke into my SUV, they left eye visible prints all over the windows but they were just a little smudged as if they were pushing against the window instead of just looking to leave a clear print (you know, real world stuff, not CSI print stuff). Anyway, out of all 10 prints on the windows that you can clearly see with the naked eye and even make out the lines and you can tell which print came from which finger, they said "sorry sir, prints could not be developed". Not to mention that it took a day for them to come, and days to get this done. He has the car, that's it, end of story. He got lucky this time.

You have to pay for lojack to have it. If you don't have BMW assist, or lojack, I don't see how they can track you car. Maybe I was miss informed, but these cars don't come with anything unless your order it.
