Synapse BOV reivew pics
Ok I got my new 335i specific synapse BOV. Synapse makes a 335i specific BOV that only utilizes the the 2 nipples on the back. The good thing about the synapse is that it can be mounted on any BOV flange with the use of an adapter. I have the Stett Chargepipe that had a Tial 50mm BOV on it. I mainly got rid of it because it was way to quiet and it fluttered(compressor surge)once in awhile. I purchased the synapse BOV with the Tial flange adapter. It comes with a recirc fitting which I didn't use.
First of all this is the best looking BOV on the market, seriously this thing is pretty as hell. Bolt up was pretty straight forward nothing complicated about it at all so I won't get into that. this thing sounds amazing, my throttle response is way better and spool up is a little quicker I love this thing. On to the pics.

Just a couple times here & there on medium throttle. Don't get me wrong the Tial is a good BOV, I switched it out more because it was way to quiet(I might as well had went with diverter valves). But I did my research & found out about the synapse. I will post a link later of why I chose the synapse.

+1 on this, I have mine for almost 1.5 Months now, And I must say, it's one of the best if not the best BoV on the market in terms of sound, fit and finish! Easy to Install, looks great and sounds awesome!
Nice Pics Terrance!

Congrats Terrance!
I've had the BOV for over a year now and still love it... They actually used my car to develop the kit and make a few videos.

It is a night and day difference, it is way louder but it sounds good. I can't stop blowing it off just to hear it. I installed one on a friend of mines 335i last weekend and he loves it as well.

Is that right? What car and what spring are you running?
Mine is surprisingly quiet as well.

Having a 6mt or an AT has nothing to do with it. Boost is boost and when the throttle plate closes it needs to go somewhere. Maybe it was the springs I had in it, But I could barely hear it when I got on it and let off the throttle.

I completely agree. The Tial is audible only when dumping a decent amount of boost, say 12 or more. Anything less than that sounds just like the DVs.
