My dealer mentioned this as an option I can pay for when I pick up my car:
http://www.stongard.com/ What do you guys think about this?

I found Stongard to be one of the more expensive lines of protective film.
![]() You can get just as good film from Xpel or others for less money. The real key is to get a good installer @ a reasonable price. ![]() Did your dealer tell you how much? |

Thanks for the info. No the dealer mentioned it's something we could discuss at time of redelivery since it would pointless putting it on if I already got a lot of chips on it in Europe.

Stongard is great, Ive only used them for headlight and foglight covers, but the stuff was much thicker than the other ones ive used. This might have been the case with their headlight covers only though. I think they are based in your region so they might be a good option

LOL I actually found this thread while looking to resolve my waterspot problem before Picus and others helped out (btw, washed again this weekend after 3 coats of klasse SG and now I know what DavidN meant in his sticky about water "sheeting". I've NEVER seen anything like that before. Absolutely awesome. Thanks guys) Anyway, here's the thread on fixing scratches and chips using dealer paint and PC. Looks relatively easy. I was actually thinking about doing it on the wife's mini, but she's a chip/dent/scratch magnet and I'll only have to do it again on the same spot and others over the next 2 years. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32625 Mods, hope you don't mind a link to another forum.
