I'm still optimistic and giving him the benefit of the doubt... I hope he pulls through or else I have no choice but to start a paypal claim as well...

I spoke with "Car Enthusiast" over the phone and he is in the same position, looking to start the claim as well...

Well guys, after going back and forth for a few days now, it looks like things are actually legit... We (car enthusiast, Jeller, myself) have been communicating with each other and Corey since day 1 of this post... Despite all the negative comments left about Corey, it seems not to be the case, I'm not going to lie, he hasnt been the easiest to work with but I can tell you he's not as bad as it might seem on these threads...

*Attached is a copy of the receipt of the items that are to ship out Monday 10/19. I cant say that Corey is completely in the green but when we all receive the items purchased as described, we will definitely post up...

It's not looking good AGAIN.... there could possibly be 3 claims going through all at once if I dont have a tracking number by 6pm CST..

I called the place where the items are to be shipped from and no record of any trunk being shipped, if its going freight, I have not been made aware of but for now I am going to assume that it is not being shipped..

FCK whatever happened to easy transactions, eventhough I know we'll all get our money back, I FKN hate dealing with this kind of sh*t - We all have other sh*t to do besides having to track down items purchased!!

Edit* Received a text from the OP with tracking numbers, we'll see...

Got my tracking number this afternoon. He sent it 2day ship for being patient with him. That was nice of him

I have to say that I was pretty worried for a while there. Communication is key and understanding the buyer/seller relationship is key to a good transaction... which this one was lacking.

it took me a long time to ship these items because i have a race truck that i am trying to have ready for this coming weekend... so im sorry to every one!!!!!! which is why i also hate shipping stuff when i sell it... it takes too much damn time when u dont have a second to spare in ur day....

I'm glad everybody is getting their stuff, but you need to know that communication is the key when selling stuff and having peoples money. Now you came through I take it back, but at that point you were going the ways of a scammer. I know one of your buyers personally and he tells me you weren't returning his phone calls or text or pms you were looking pretty bad, so calm the hell down and realize were my comment came from.

Chris and I still await our packages... UPS tracking says tomorrow... We didnt get the same 2day treatment as told but I understand things would of got costly.. I will post up as soon as I have the items in hand...

Parts came in on Thurs but I was in Dallas... The ur cai came in great condition but the trunk had minimal damage from shipping.. when ready for paint, should be an easy fix for the body shop but will increase labor cost... I know that the trunk was not damaged before shipping because Corey sent me some pics... I'll post pics tomorrow..

How much did you ensure the trunk for? I think I'm going to file a claim with UPS for mishandling on their end.. Also, I sent you a text on the bracket that comes with the cai for the power steering reservoir but didnt hear back from you, you have it?
