New to the Community! :) Wheel Question...

Hi All!

I just ordered a 2007 335 e92 scheduled to be built in February with delivery expected to be late March/early April 2007. Needless to say, I can't wait!

I'm planning to drop the car a tad using H&R Sport Springs, and switch to 19" wheels. In my research here, it looks like the proper offset for the rears with this setup is et30 -- what about the fronts? Also, does anyone with the same or similar setup I'm planning have any input as to the proper wheel + tire sizing and offset that will not result in rubbing?

Any information is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your time!

The correct et is dependant on wheel width, so a 30 et on a 8.5" wide 19" wheel will fit differently than it would with a 10.5" wide wheel. The calculator at the top of this forum shoulc help you out - just compare whatever wheel you're looking at to the OEM 19" wheel & tire specs.

I haven't mounted mine yet, but I plan for a 35mm offset on my 9.5 rears. They come stock and I want to add a 10mm spacer. Hopefully this will push them far enough, but not too far...

Ultimately it will be 15mm out further than stock...

Anyone opinions? Should I go further? I haven't ordered my spacer yet..

For e92, I have this set up ( see below ) with no rubbing and flush fender fit. I like the rear gap and will not be dropping, the front is a ltttle to high and needs at least and inch drop.

F= 235/35/19 8.5" rim 40et
R= 265/30/19 9.5" rim 30et

Thanks all for this information -- much appreciated!

NFS13 -- I'd prefer to go with a drop on all 4 corners as I'm *assuming* this will best maintain the handling characteristics of the car.

fueledbymetal -- to be honest with you, I was a bit confused as to how to use the calculator up top as I didn't think I had all the input data, but I think I better understand it now -- thanks!
