Does anyone have this kind of issue?

I live in a building with a big garage, and you need to turn left to get into the door.

I programmed the homelink mirror properly, and it works perfectly from inside the garage, to open and close the door. However, it doesn't work at all from the outside, and doesn't open nor close the door, no matter how close I get to the door or how I angle the mirror.

Funny thing is that it worked perfectly on my '06 330i.

Anyone have any issues like this?

Maybe it is the antenna on the opener - not the car. My antenna (just a short length of wire) was coiled up - straightening it gave me a greater range.

My standard transmitter will open my garage doors from an 1/8 mile away. I need to be in the driveway for my Homelink to work. That has been the case with every Homelink equipped car I've had.

My homelink will open my garage door from just down the block. I can open my garage door far enough away that when i get to the door, its already fully open.
