My question is, how long can you expect this to last before it starts fading or wearing through? Has anyone experienced this? I think it looks sick, but I dont want to waste my time doing vinyl if it wont last long. I say go black but go oem unless these guys can convince me otherwise. It is a nice savings but I dont want to be removing this stuff in a year cause it looks bad.

Check out this thread. They claim "7-9 year outdoor durability," which sounds good to me - even if I have to have it done twice, its still cheaper than OEM. I plan on going with brandon @ eas when the time comes as he is local to me and I've seen plenty of pictures of his work, unfortunately he's not available for the next week or so. Whats funny is everyone that knows about bimmers says black the trim, and all my friends and family (who don't know much about bimmers) say leave the trim the way it is. Still kind of up in the air with this one, but leaning towards the black trim. I don't want the blacked/murdered out look, but I guess it will come down to what wheels I go with, but that's another headache. Thanks for everyone's opinions and replies... the poll is pretty clear cut! |
