Question HELP: Hazy film on my window after Zaino.

I Zaino'd my car last week with Z5 and Z2. I used Z5 on the front windshield with the 1st coat applied to the car. Today it rained for the first time since the application, and with every swipe of the wipers there was a film on the area cleared by the wipers. If left long enough between wipes, the film would fade away and the windshield would be clear until the next swipe of the wipers. I tried washer fluid while driving but it didn't seem to make it any better or worse.

Any ideas what's causing this and how to fix it? Before Zaino there was no film on the windshield.

Thanks!

I might be wrong, but I dont think you are supposed to use either Z2 or Z5 on glass. You will want to use some dish soap and water to get that completely off.

Zaino is ok on glass, a lot of guys do it since it beads water up nicely. It sounds like may you applied a tad too much; no worries - get a little Z6 (assuming you have some) and give the windows a rub down with it (spray, give a good buff with a microfiber). If you do not have Z6 you'll want to try another quick detailer. If the problem continues after that you can strip the Zaino from the windows with a 50/50 mix of alcohol and water (regular rubbing alcohol), dish soap unfortunately is not strong enough to strip Zaino. Just mix regular 70% isopropyl alcohol in a bottle with water, spray it on the windows, and wipe off. I would then re-apply Zaino very thinly, let haze, and buff off, but that's up to you. Typically waxes will streak on windows, but sealants won't unless you over-apply them.

It's like having a mistress that never asks for anything and never talks back; just does what I tell her. In a word; perfect!
