328 Differential on a 335
How about using a 328i differential on a 335i? The ratio on the 328i is different than the 335 and would allow for shorter gears and better acceleration.
328: Final drive ratio 3.23 [3.73] :1 335: Final drive ratio 3.08 [3.46] :1

I believe that the 335i diff housing is larger. do not change.
if you want to do any work on the diff, first install an LSD, and while you are doing that swap out the gearing. a vendor like www.diffsonline.com can easily accomodate this request. |

Might be worth waiting for the M3 to come out also. Might be an easy swap to put an M3 LSD in a 335 though the like the previous poster said, you may have to change the gearing a bit.
