[Mega Man]

With all the negativity usually found online, this might be a good "pick-me up" thread.

Anyway, I was the recipient of some random helpfulness today. I was in a parking lot reversing out to leave, and another car was waiting behind me for my spot. Suddenly, without warning the car on the opposite side starts to reverse slowly. I thought about pulling back in to avoid her (woman driving an accord), but figured she would see I was already there. After a slight hesitation, I lay onto my horn hoping she would hear...then I shift to first and start moving forward to avoid her...but she hit her accelerator hard, narrowly missing me. She begins to slow, and I'm laying on my horn trying to get her attention. A random guy walking back to his car walks over to her and motions for her to roll down her window and points out to her what she was doing. She angrily reverses out and speeds off.

While her action and reaction was messed up beyond recognition, it was great that this guy who was walking along tried to help me out. After she left, he asked if we were all ok (I had a car full of people).

In the mean time, be safe out there in the holiday madness parking lots.
