Newbbie with Questions about Angel eyes
Hi All, been searching around the the net but came up with no result!!!
I've got a 2006 E90 BMW 320i with stock Halogen headlights, now i want to add agnel eyes to them but for those that don't know what the stock Halogen headlights looks like, the High beam reflector diameter is smaller then the outter Low beam. The outter loe beam is not a full circle either. Now i've purchased a CCFL angel eye's rings for the E90, but when it came, the size of the rings were all the same size. Would be great if my BMW had Xenon as stock, but its halogen which means there must be bigger rings and smaller rings. Now is there anyway of adding ccfl angel eyes light rings for the E90 with halogen stock lights without buying the whole xenon light setup? Are there anyone that sells the angel eyes light rings made for the e90 halogen headlights?? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks PS. how do i add picture to my thread? |

You cannot add angel eyes to the halogen headlights, they are fused together and are near impossible to open without ruining the seal. You are best off purchasing OE projector xenons.

You could also purchase LCI halogen housings, as those have angel eyes. It's cheaper than going OEM xenon. I just sold mine (pending probably until tomorrow) for 625. OEM Xenons will probably cost 1200 or so for pre LCI Euro spec or 2000 or so for LCI when you include conversion costs to work with a car that used to be halogen. I'm probably a bit low on costs, too, so those might be "best case." If you want American spec pre LCI you may be able to get cheaper xenons, but there isn't much demand.

Thanks guys for your answer. So thats it then!! NO Angel Eyes for me. Buying new Xenon lights with angel eyes is overdoing it abit.
Because i bought of ebay from some china seller selling the E90 CCFL angel eye rings, but when they got here, they didn't fit, due to the large Low beam reflector. The high beam was the right size though. Guess its replaceing the rear Clear LED tail lights now. Ebay has a few good cheaps ones. Any suggestions? |
