Aftermath of my car in a accident.

So i think many of you know my car was hit about a month ago now, while it was parked in front of my home, while a driver of a small POS fell asleep and went into the quarter panel.

Anyways today is going into week 3 of them working on it, and here at the updated pics.

Tell me what you think about the job so far. not sure if its good or bad rea
lly.

No nothing at all, maybe i should have, but i handed it over to bmw, and let them bring it to a certified and trained bmw center for repair. i just wanted my baby back.

Rear bumper is new and getting painted,
both side skirts are getting painted and are new
and the door was setup to be repainted since they said its needed to blend correctly to the quarter panel
quarter panel is new aswell.

P.s. I just ordered a 2010 E90 LCI M-sport aswell so as long as the car is coming back as it was before i will be happy.

I will put the rims back on it once its out and continue with the mods i have sitting for it, and than the rest of the modding money goes to the new E90.

i would have taken advantage of the fact that you get to do work with insurance money.. and probably done widebody and mtech rear bumper... but that's just me

Mtech rear might have been possible, but no way is any insurance company going to pay for a widebody.

looks good, seems they just replaced the quarter panel, not much body work which is always good just the spot at the window where they had to cut and join the fender which is pretty much standard but lets see pics when its done.

A car is only salvage if it is considered a total loss. In which case the insurance company would pay the owner the full value of the car and the car would go to salvage auction. Or he could buy it back from them for cheap as well, but not for damage like this.

Look forward to seeing pics of it fixed.
