Take It To Their Bank
NYS DMV will change a mandatory $25 to upgrade to the ugly new plate, but rest assured they will charge upwards of $100 to upgrade to a less ugly, new custom plate in late 2010.
Well, I guess that's one way to drive the sales of custom plates.

Looks like the new plates may be slowly dying if they find other ways to generate revenue...More tickets? LOL!

If you want to keep your current plate #, it's gonna cost another $20. This would be on top of a 25 percent increase in the driver’s license and registration fees that took effect in September 2009... Senator Darrel Aubertine and Assembly woman Addie Russell are the only legislators that voted for this crap... E-mail them and show your disappointment in them: http://www.nysenate.gov/senator/darr...ertine/contact http://assembly.state.ny.us/mem/?ad=118&sh=con I reminded them I'm voting for their oppoent to unseat them. |
