hey guys.

im looking to install a JL 1000/1 amplifier in my 320d e90 UK model.

iv looked all over the place in search of an installation guide that helps.

im looking to install the amp my self.

the main parts that confuse me are. how the hell do i get the RCA cables in?

I assume you have 6 speaker system like our 323i in Canada. You will need to run current subwoofer wires to trunk. This will be your RCA in. DO NOT use the rear speaker to tap for amp input as it doesn't have enough power for amplifier to sense the signal.

I'm looking to do amp/sub install myself but from what I've read it's easy to run the wire through door sill strip.

thanks mathu.bala, will you be able to do a full DIY on the subwoofer amp and rca for evryone looking to install a subwoofer please

Actually I'm a noob when it comes to these things. I will give it a shot once I get amp/sub. If you already amp/sub then jump in...I can def. help you.
