a question for those with Dunlop M3 DSST winter sport tires.

I just got a set of 4 DL m3 dsst winter tires. I'm speculating these tires now and trying to find out which is the OUTSIDE(facing me when installing onto the car). Is there something written on the side well that says facing OUTSIDE or INSIDE? OR is the OUTSIDE the side with the MANUFACTURING DATE STAMPED ? i.e DOT...2506?

There should be an arrow with the inscription inside of it "rotation". when installing that arrow should be on the outside pointing in the direction of the front of the car. I don't remember seeing an "outside" marker but those are more typical for tires without a directional pattern.

I don't know if it matters on those tires. The tread pattern seems to be the same on either side. The stock 18" Bridgestones definitely have a designation for inside and outside because the tread pattern is different on either side of center.

The tread on these is not "asymmetric". Direction of rotation is all that matters.

Correct, there is no inside or outside.
