Herb Chambers sux big hairy donkey balls.

FMW is ok except for their lack of BMW loaners (I saw a guy with a 745il leave in a Neon loaner)

BMW Gallery Norwell has great service and wonderful sales ppl.

I'm planning to order my E90 in the next month or two for a late-April ED. Based on all of your experiences with dealers in the boston area, who would you recommend buying from? So far I've visited FMW and BMW of Peabody a few times. I've steered clear of Herb Chambers because of their rather poor reputation. So far I have generally found the CAs at BMW of Peabody to be friendlier and more knowledgeable than those at FMW. Which is the best for ED? Service? Overall satisfaction? I'd love to hear everyone's opinions.

I would not buy a sandwich from any Wagner dealership. I had a long dealing with these guys after they left my wifes convertable out in the rain with the top down, and tried to blame it on her. I went all the way up the food chain chewing ears. They suck.

Since then I have bought 6 cars from FMW and have been very satisfied. Brian Locke on the BMW side and JC Cabanos on the MB side have been great to deal with.

Garage List
I've dealt with a few area dealers, and ended up getting my '07 328xi coupe from BMW of Peabody. They were very knowledgable, friendly, and, most importantly, were able to meet my price.

I dealt with one sales guy at FMW who, after spending a total of maybe 10 minutes on the phone, said that he couldn't be bothered any longer working with me, as he'd put in too much time in the deal. Go figure.

Herb Chambers was decent this time around, though I've had a sales guy there in the past when I was looking at BMW accuse me of smoking weed and tell me I really wasn't interested in their cars. This time around, I got a decent sales guy, but neither he nor the sales manager would budge from their rather high price. I blame that on the never-ending supply of rich college kids a stone's throw away.

If you guys are willing to take a Drive, BMW of Stratham is a pretty good place. It's about 15 min west of Hampton Beach. The CA's are okay but their Service Department is AWESOME!!

I use Tulley BMW in Nashua, NH.. Literally right on the border, so if you're in Boston or the northern suburbs, it's worth the drive. I've had no bad experiences there. The CA's are mostly knowledgeable, and I've only met two of them that don't treat you well. All the SA's are knowledgeable and friendly.
