edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 27mm

1mm MORE clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 27mm

anyone running a setup like that ?

width offset

Old 8 34
New 9 20

would an extra 27mm from stock rub on the E92 on stock suspension? would it be better if i get a 35 offset and if I want more flush just get some spacers

Can you E92 guys post pics of a similar setup

Get a ruler and measure 27mm from the edge of your wheel.

Yes you will rub with the stock suspensions. I have OEM M3 18's on my 335i and when I did the calculation it also extend 27mm and I rubbed slightly.

depends on what tires you have. for example if lito was running OEM M3 tires as well then of course he was rubbing, if he had smaller tires he would lessen his chances

I actually swap the tires from 265/40/18 to 265/35/18 and still rubs. Might also has to to do with the squared Michelin's PS2. With a rounded tires like Falken's FK 452 or Toyo Proxes you might get away with it.

thats because the tire is still just as wide as it was before. try a 255/35/18

on the e90 you can get away with 265/35/18 easily so 255 may give you a lil bit of clearance.

Those offset might just work without rubbing. What tires are you running?

255 on a 9.5 might give me a stretch look. I had the fenders rolled so I'm fine now.
