Bumper paint is gone, any cheap solutions?
My bumper was hit a few months ago and ever since, parts of the bumper paint chips off every now and then. It's not too much (perhaps only 1% of the whole bumper), but it does look pretty bad (since my car is in Jet Black, and you can notice the missing paint).
Are there any *cheap* solutions relative to me replacing/re-painting the whole bumper? Are there any "paint sticks" or something that I can attach on the missing paint? Thanks for any ideas.

Otherwise, black is the most reflective color and if its just as small as you say, just have it repaired correctly. If you let it go, its just going to get worse. |

One percent of a bumper is more than one square inch; one square foot is 144 square inches. You're going to try to use touchup paint on that? Why would you want to do it on the cheap? You will get less than what you pay for and it will look worse than it probably does now.

Go to a large auto dealership, and go see the used car director/manager. We have paint guys come by regularly that are miracle workers with an airbrush. They can match and blend the bumper no problem, and the cost should be around 70-120 dollars. Just offer the used car manager lunch or a 6pack for the referral to his paint guy.

For $120, I would go check out some paint shop. You might be able to get the bumper painted for like $225-275 . any experts, please chime in.
