SMC defective

i know i've seen threads mentioning the SMC on here somewhere before but i searched and can't find. anyone know what the below codes relate to?

9CC0:
SMC right defective
Error will not cause a warning light
Error is currently present
Test conditions have been completed
Timeout

9CBF:
SMC left defective
Error will not cause a warning light
Error is currently present
Test conditions have been completed
Timeout
