2003.5 M3 Silver/blk - 24K miles **Showroom Quality**
As a little background, I'm the original owner and I purchased the car new from a South Carolina dealer with only 23 miles on it. Although it was very very very hard, I followed the 1,200 mile break-in schedule religiously (5K rpm max, no full throttle, no constant speeds, 106mph max). Within a couple if hundred miles of the break-in mark, the car was taken to the dealer for oil, differential and transmission fluid change. I've been extremely anal caring for this car. I have every possible service record and documents for the car, right down to the original purchase order from the dealer. Oil services were performed every year due to low miles and I ensured the brake fluid was changed every 2 years and coolant at 4 years, as per the service guide. Additionally, I was able to get the dealer to perform 'Inspection 1' at 23K miles even though the car's computer indicated it was not time. This M3 is a true 2003.5 which means it is still under a 6 year/100K mile engine warranty along with factory LED and auto headlights (features of a 2004 and up). Although the car was never included in the bearing recall, I've monitored the engine's health by sending oil samples to Blackstone for oil analysis after each oil change. Each report has come back with favorable results indicating excellent motor health. You are welcome to view each of the reports and there is a sample of one below. The original tires on the car were replaced at ~22K even with remaining tread life because I was worried that 5 years was too long for tires. That kind of tire life on Michelin Pilot Sports indicates the car did not get to see any smokey burn outs or hard usage. I replaced with new sticky Pilot Sport 2s - they have ~2K miles on them. The car has never been in any accidents nor had any type of paint work performed. At all costs, I have avoided driving it in the rain. I have a recent Car Fax I can send you as well. Build Date: 6/03 June 2003 builds and forward have never required bearing recalls. BMW fixed the glitch. Model Year: 2003.5 Mileage: 24,8xx Options:

The most enteraining emails thus far, both started very strong with comments like - "what is the lowest you will take" and "what is your bottom dollar".
Guess you just have to just play the game. |

If I was in the market for an E46 M3, I would buy this car in a heartbeat. Good luck with the sale!

That is an absolutely beautiful car. For those of us that want to replicate your feat, how did you take care of the leather?
