Removing overspray on wheels

I have read threads on removing overspray on paint, but how about on wheels? Same products? Please advise. I can't stand it when the wheel feels "rough" and sandy.

clay bar works. i would go for something more aggressive than the usual though. wheels are pretty nasty in general

Are there any OTC "more aggressive" clay bar that can do this job? I have used clay bars in the past, but for my car, not wheels. Thanks.

if you can find clay magic or meguiar's detailer clay OTC, i'd go with that

Clay Magic is available in 2 strengths.......

Blue - Fine
Red - Medium

For your needs you might try the "Red" but first try in a inconspicuous spot to make sure you get the desired results. Make sure that it doesnt scratch the paint to much, if not proceed, then wax or seal

Thanks guys. I actually went out and got Meguiars's clay bar and detailer package at my local autozone. Worked pretty darn good! The finish was definitely noticeably smoother. There were still some areas on the wheels that still felt a little rough. I'll have to put a little more elbow grease to those areas. Thus far, I would have to say that they felt at least 85% smoother than before.
