Hey guys, I have an E92 335 and i scratched my front lip, and my painter says he wont take my lip off for me, so i have to take it off myself and have him paint it. And i was wondering how do you take it off?
I wasn't at the shop when they put it on so, i have no clue. Shoulden't it just be double sided tape? Im just not too sure and i wanted to know if anyone knew how you take it off. Here is a pick of it....

Spray WD-40 in the seams and have some patience.

It will come off eventually. That doesn't look bad though.

If its just the bottom, save yourself the hassle and $$, buy some touchup paint.

I doubt anybody can even see it without having to be low to the ground and actually try and look for it.

Yeah doesnt look like a big deal. If you have to take it off i recommend usong heat and slowly pulling it apart carefully. If its oem on a good Rep, it Will be made of bendable plastic. Once you get one side the rest will be very easy. Took me like 3 minutes. This will work assuming its Held on with double sided tape. Dont forget the bolts holding the lip on the bottom.
