I think the fact the superchips map can be removed easily is a bonus for when it comes to getting a service or selling the car (I think having a remap isn't always a benefit when it comes to selling)... but I don't doubt that you'd get a better remap from Evolve, and if I'm right you also get before/after RR outputs? Plus it's cheaper than the superchip...

Superchips cant remap these and evolve switch wont work. New tuning protection system from Bosch/BMW fitted to BMW diesels with build date April 2009 onwards.
Can one of the Evolve boys share their thoughts on this comment

Once my sponsorship has been sorted ill be able to offer you guys an option, yes its a box, but its not a 2 bit resistor off ebay either..

And for the record, were not having any issues with the latest 2009 spec cars either...

For the latest 306bhp 7 series, well be looking at Common Rail/Turbo Pressure sensor and crankshaft sensor too...

There are 2 kinds of re-maps, (1) Evolve and the likes, and then (2)the guy who bought a set of files of fleabay, a laptop, and can "remap ya car for £150 mate"

The same goes for tuning boxes too, there are good ones, and bad ones... and a place in the world for boxes as well as maps

Having delt with Andrew before, i can honestly say that his tuning boxes he offers are superior to all.
I had one on my last 2 vans, not problems, no issues, great service and he seems happy to answer any questions at any time.

The results achived my the last tuning box (CRD2 or Red box) returned 189bhp.... not bad from a 1.9 8 valve 120bhp as std vauxhall engine

I'm serious tempted by the new dual system, but funds are scarce at the moment with christmas round the corner and for me this is the quietest time of year.

I would like to have a try in a car with the new system at some point, be interesting to feel for myself, the difference.

Anyway, it'd be worth considering the product Andrew has to offer.

I am surprised that an engine increased power from 120bhp to 189bhp. That's +69bhp which is +57.5% seems a little high to me.

All issues and questions regarding Andrew's products can and will be dealt with once he is a sponsor

The 1.9 Vauxhall CDTI aka Fiat 1.9JTD engines are one of the most tuneable engines on the market...

Ill be honest, the highest ive seen is 168bhp from the 120PS, and 208bhp from the 16v 150PS....

I appreciate that other mods were done but I did think that 189bhp was a little high.

Best not say anymore as Tone will be along shortly to kick ass

I do suggest find a local tuner to do your job man...
yeah that's a good idea.... couldnt find any tickets though. All tickets were sold 2 months ago

i have read many many reviews and threads. Evolve seems to be the best. I even found superchip local dealer (i actually call the guy, and he told me to call another guy who wasnt answering his phone....) but why get the second best. And even if something goes wrong, the local dealer is gona fix the car? (dont think so).

The point is why take the risk when you can have the best.........getting a bit philosophical here....

AND YES..... I AM AN APOEL FAN (the team which will be playing against Chelsea on next Tuesday)
