M kit installation
does anybody know a body shop that they could recommend for M-tech kit installation and paint? I don't want to go to NYC at all so only NJ or maybe even Upstate NY/palisades

In my old e46 the guys at JMK body shop really hooked me up on the m-tech install. I am not sure if the guy who ran the shop is still there....but worth a call his name is Tommy.

Talk to Ken over at JMK and tell him Jay with the Monaco e92 sent you..that should give you some wiggle room under $1500 for sure

its pretty easy to install the kit~ but you have to find a shop to paint it..
If they chare $1500 for painting the entire kit (front bumper, rear bumper, sides), its actually not that bad, as the paint alone would probably be around 900-1200?)

paint is $300 for front & rear bumper and $200 for sides totaling to $800. add tax and it is $864. the entire kit should cost you about $900 less then $950 at the max of $1,000.
for installs e90post installers are by far the best. either alex will work . install should be $150-$200 max front bumper, $100-$150 rear bumper, and like $50-75 for side skirts totaling to about $350 less then $400 for sure. so if jmk wants $1,500 installed it is actually not a bad deal . about $200 to max $300 difference from going to jmk compared to the other route which you can use for the ss

$300 for front AND rear bumper paint?? THats CHEAP.. it cost me $250 for rear bumper only (and this is through some guy I know)...
Most places want $350-400 just for the rear bumper and probably $600-650 for BOTH... Let me know where I can get front/rear bumper painted for $300.. I really want to get my front bumper painted.. (rock chips and all)..PM me details? Thanks!!

that's pretty worth it if you're talking about the entire kit. if it's just a single bumper, that's a rip IMO.

yea well things changed to say least...as usual, e90post members lowballed me on the car so i didnt sell it. i'll keep it until i get a s4 or rs4 sometime soon i guess. MAC is in LI, thats NYC territory in my terms because I have to go through NYC. my car suffered enough. or maybe i will get the mtech on my way back to yyz. i know a body shop in upstate that can paint and install for 700 or less.
