Well I was looking into a new car earlier this year when I got some rather unexpected baby news from the wife. Understandably any thoughts of a new car went out the window for a while. Now however I am starting to think about it again and the lease deals BMW are offering right now have my interest piqued. With a 59% residual, a MF of only .00225, and a holiday credit of $2500 I figure I can get a 2010 335i M-Sport with nav for around $600/month (which is considerably less than the G is costing me right now).

My question is I want to order one now and still get the holiday cash (ends Jan 4) but I also want to trade my car in. How can I work the deal for the new car? Do I give them my car now and wait until the new one comes in or do I give them the car at the time of pickup? Also I want to do the Performance Center delivery so how does that work? Do I go to the dealer a few days before my delivery date and finalize the deal or what?

Any lease-ers out there that can give me some insight? I appreciate it!

Negotiate the deal on the order now. get an idea of what the trade is worth now. it will have a different value when you actually trade it in 3 months from now. Fill out a credit app with your BMW store and lock in the Holiday cash and place the order. you can arrange the performance center delivery with the dealer at the same time you do all these other things
