Has anyone fought a red light camera ticket in CA?

I got one in Poway (just outside of San Diego) and got the ticket today in the mail. If I go to traffic school it's $498

The thing that burns me the most is I DID stop...but past the limit line. Ahhh! Anyone have one of those "fight red light camera ticket" books?

If you stopped, then fight it. You get a picture in the mail, but the court has the video.. They will dismiss it off if they see that you stopped..

I was just a court fighting a intake and tint ticket. A couple people got off for this same reason..

Received one in Cuptertino when visiting grandparents about a year ago. Was driving at "normal speeds" camera went off. Tagged for a 42 in a 35. Fought it saying that there is a margin of 10% +- on the radar detector plus a 5-10% error in my speedometer. Easy as baking a cake with your momma.

friend of mine got a red light ticket in hillcrest on university - $447
he went to the court and the judge dropped it whole $37! heh

So my ticket is due today, about to head out to the court to deal with it. I've been calling them all day and trying to find out if I can extend but from both online and on the phone; I can't find a record of the citation. The citation is made out to my company not to any specific person. Just hoping this is a scare ticket and not a real one.
