189's vs 199's? Just difference size?

So I checked out the E92 sticky from 2005/06 and it mentioned how the fronts and rears we're both 225/40/18. I for some reason, always though the rears we're 255.

NOW, I didn't even know there was a style 199. Is 199 09+ models? They look the same, and I even did a little search to see and couldn't come up with anything. Am i crazy?

The 189 are 18x8 with 225/40/18 and 18x8.5 with 255/35/18 tires. And the 199 are 19x8 with 235/35/19 and 19x9 with 255/30/19.
The 199 are not standard on any e9x, but accessories.

Garage List
2009 BMW  [9.24]
Completely different wheels - different sizes, thinner spokes on the 199's, more pronounced groove on the 199's..
