Rim offset

As i urgently need to know this...


does higher offset mean safer to install BMW perf suspension? My current ET42 without spacer means risky? Also if i add a spacer incase it DOES scratch does that mean it'll remove that issue?

Im confused whether higher ET or lower ET means lower chance of scratch.

im so confused...so is lower number or a higher number offset better if i plan to lower my car by 15mm?.... please help,.

A lower offset will push the wheel away from the strut side, in other words, the wheel will stick more out.
