E90 saloon LCI Msport - total closure?
Will my new car have total closure on it, and if so, how is it activated?
I'll be honest, I've never seen it mentioned anywhere in the spec so not expecting it to. But, it would be nice if it was on there as it was standard on my Leon, as was electric folding mirrors and I was hoping that not having the mirror option on the E90 would be the only backwards step I will taking! Thanks |

Does not fold mirrors. Takes a second to flip the button on the door on the way out, if required. Don't park my car where I need to do that D.

Thanks peeps, so it does have it - cool.
Shame I won't have electric folding mirrors but that won't stop me pushing them flat where needed Can you open the windows too? Actually, that's more useful IMO because in the summer, the heat escapes quite quickly if the windows are open before you get in. |

No, not any more.........
On pre LCI models if you had leccy folding mirrors they used to fold when you held the 'lock' button on the fob and unfold when you opened the car. Now on LCI models that auto-fold feature has been deleted, some bullshit safety crap the dealer told me. You can still press the button inside the car, but gone is fold-on-locking and un-fold-on-unlocking that I used to love so much. The dealer said, at many customers requests, they'd tried to enable it via the programming machine, but the facility is gone on LCI cars..... Yep, open or close the lot!!! useful in summer to open the windows before you get to the car. |

I have a 2007 E92 and mine doesn't do that - is a programmable option on pre-LCI, or should I just assume I can't have it?

It's programmable via the BMW GT1 diagnostic machine
