Nokian Hakkapeliitta R and snow, why do they suck?

WTF. It snowed 2" here yesterday and I highly doubt the roads were plowed by the time I got on them at 10pm to drive home. Most of it was compact snow and a little slush.

I was all over the road. I kept on sliding and I could not drive in a straight line. Traction control light never came on so I was sliding. No ice.

I drove the tires in dry and wet conditions for the last month with no problems but now I cant drive worth crap in the snow.

What could be the problem? I was at work last night until 10pm replacing my wishbone and tension struts with M3 parts.

Nothing is wrong with the tires.

I never thought how far my alignment could be off after installing M3 wishbone arms and tension struts. I looked at my car today and wow its bad. I need to be at the BMW dealers here in Germany at 8am tomarrow to get it fixed. I slide all over the place and its because of my alignment. Crap.
