225/255 vs 235/265
Hey guys, I searched around but could not really find an answer to this...
Seems most people here on the forum upgrade to 235/35 and 265/30 when they go to 19s (8.5" and 9.5") on a 335. I am trying to decide between doing this or 225/35 and 255/30 on 8" and 9" wide wheels. I am going to be dropping on Eibach Pro or H&R Sport, so I figured why go wider if I dont have to... Maybe a 235/265 setup would be slightly more comfortable? Any thoughts? |

The main reason is that since the wheel is an inch larger in diameter, keeping the same width tire on the tire would mean a lot less sidewall. Increasing the width by 10mm per inch increase keeps it at about the same overall diameter for the tire/wheel.

Do 225/255. 235 is too much for a 8" wheel. |
