General UHPs? If so they're actually all seasons. If your stock wheels are sport package then you're better off with UHP's.

I was already due for an alignment so right after I got 'em raised I was in the auto shop.

Even with the xi that snow driving was ridiculous. Not because it couldnt handle it but because of these frickin' other drivers who dont know what they are doing!!!!

Was anyone else out there during the storm? Idiots on the Northern State were sliding everywhere!!!

yea the most dangerous part of driving in this weather i think is other people. like morons who think flooring it when the light turns green and we're on a hill. the BEST is the morons who tailgate in snow. priceless lol

I am ready for an Mtech upgrade too ... Only problem is all the people tailgating are the people who don't care about their vehicles, so who knows if they even have any insurance whatsoever.

I've seen people out there with bald A/S tires driving in minivans then when they get to a turn and the road banks in then starts the "powerslide" into the rest of the traffic. Some of those people need to on winter driving. I was driving half-paranoid on the Northern State for hours. When I got home I just parked it up and took my girl home on the train. She was cool with it. Just too many reckless drivers with 20" rims and summer tires out there.

I'm just happy I dont see any "Totalled..." threads. Atleast not yet...

AWD with A/S tires... still nothing stopping me except for the other drivers... I've been driving eye's wide open

Driving in the 'burbs might be easier (less traffic), but in NYC and Brooklyn with some unplowed streets and "un-knowledgable" drivers on the side of you... things get a little complicated...

If I see one more Dodge Charger with 22" wheels and 1/3" of rubber... I will just have to stop by and give them a as they struggle to drive into the KFC parking lot. LMAO.

Tell me about it.

I got to try out my Wintersport 3Ds in the new snow on Saturday. They handled the snow great. Except some jerkoff in an SUV rear ended me as I stopped for an ambulance crossing in front of me in Manhattan. Then it took me nearly 2 hrs to get home to Fort Lee because everyone was driving 5 mph.

Definatly have to props the Pirelli 240 snows!!!

Was able to "drive" at 11PM sat. night... Otherwise an impossible feat with any other set-up. NO have XI... went to a small hill half way home and saw 10 PPL sideways and all sorts of directions. When I slowed down my rear slid out and gave me a sign to GO BACK to where I came from. Still drove... SHiiit!

Car got plowed in the street, came back the next day and loosly dug it out. DTC on, shift to second and was out!!

Snow tires= 100% better driving in the snow.

~ THE MOST FUN THOUGH, just finished plowing the front of my Office building. Armed with a 12" snow blower and 2007 chevy suburban. I did what I could with the blower, and was left with a 2'-3' wall where they plowed through. Took the suburban and did like 8 passes. F*in most fun I had in a min.! In three hours destroyed it! LMFAO, ouch. Im in pain!

dunlop wintersports and was fine...make sure you warm up your winter tires and wear them down a bit like say 200 miles...recommended from tire rack.
