Robberry Or Am I Over Reactting?
SO I HAVE THE WHEEL AND TIRE INSURANCE FOR MY CAR. AND I SOME HOW GET A NAIL IN 3 TIRES. I PERSONALLY THINK SOMEBODY PUT THEM THERE BECAUSE IT DOSENT JUST HAPPEN. SO ANYWAYS CALL THE INSURANCE COMPANY MAKE MY CLAIM AND ITS APPROVED. SO I TAKE THE CAR DOWN TO THE STEALERSHIP TO GET THE TIRES REPLACED AND GET MY LOANER. SO THE TECH CALLS ME LATER AND TELL ME THAT THE INSURANCE COMPNAY DENIED MY CLAIM AND I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE TIRES. ONCE AGAIN I WAS LIKE FINE. SO I SAID HEY PUT NON RUN FLAT TIRES ON THE CAR BECAUSE THE RUN FLATS ARE REALLY EXPENSIVE. THE TECH SAYS WE PUT THE TIRES ON ALREADY BECAUSE I HAD THE CAR UP THERE ALREADY. IN THE END IT COST ME 14xx.xx FOR TIRES AND A ALIGNMENT. DO YOU GUYS THINK THERE WAS ANY KIND OF WAY I COULD HAVE FOUGHT THAT BEING THAT I DIDINT ASK FOR THE TIRES?

Do yourself a favor and re-read your post when you are sober - then re-write it. Assuming that all happened like you posted, then your beef is with the insurance company. Contact them and inquire why they approved - then disapproved - your claim. Did something happen that you haven't told us about that caused the insurance company to reevaluate your case once the dealership saw the actual damage? The fact that you got an alignment for three tires with nails in them raises some questions as well. Perhaps it was the fents, the crub and the burshes you hit after driving through the nail factory that caused the insurance company to deny your claim. |

When they approved your claim, did they give you any documentation, e-mail you a statement with a claim number, and before they do the work don't they make sure they're getting paid. Sounds fishy on both ends.

2.) if insurance told you approved I would follow up they prolly paid the shop who then charged you happens all the time. 3.) didnt you say you had tire and wheel warranty or am i mistaken? |

from what the tech tells me they said there wasnt enough tread on the tires. which to me shouldnt really matter. if a tire is damaged that should be it.

if i did that them i wouldnt beable to drive anywhere. i had the car towed to the dealership. im not really sure how to fight it. the insurance company says its part of the contract of how much traed has to be on the tires. Quote:

hey it's your money - you seem not pissed or overacting at the situation.
So it must be robbery. if i ordered a double cheeseburger and a happymeal came out, I would ask for my double cheeseburger. Fack the Happymeal. if someone was paying for the happymeal - maybe i'll eat it, but if I had to pay for it...I want my DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER. whatever. u got new wheels. And I didn't know in GA the BMW tech double'd up as an SA.
