You don't have to compromise.... we sell 19" 1pc forged wheels that are 19lbs.

This is just my opinion. Wheel weight is very important to me. Maintaining the correct diameter is also very important to me. Wider tires are important to me also. Keeping that in mind i would pay a premium for 18 's in the widest width i can over oversized 19's.

I understand where you are coming for since a very high number of car owners value looks more and are willing to pay vs us performance types

I think it depends where you live and what the scene is like in the area. There are always going to be people who favor one size over the other. It comes down to what is functional and asthetically pleasing to your taste.

Some like function over looks and some vice versa. That's the great thing about the modding scene. Whether you're from CA or from Alaska there's always gonna be something different (good or bad).

Some want a little bit of both function and looks and hence the reason the majority go for 19's. At least for the current 3 series. Can't say for other car types.

I personally like funtion and would love to run a set of CCW's but unfortunately they won't clear my brakes.

(Incorrect. There is no "functional" reason to go with 19" wheels on our cars - it is pure "looks."

the unique color of the M3 grabbed my attention more than the wheels.

There are a few 19" wheels that are light weight and forged (Volk comes to mind), but then the diameter is usually larger too and the rotational mass becomes an issue. I'm running 18" because the both weigh under 19lbs front and rear.

You sure? Talk to CCW. They should be able to build 18's that clear.

Talked to em 3 times already. Unfortunately a 6pot and 380mm rotor is no good. Actually I've yet to see an 18 run on a BBK of that size.

Actually, it would be closest to a matte space grey. The carbon roof and accompanying VS pieces have been matted as well.

They'll look amazing on the M3 with the right tires.

Most people won't notice the difference between a 18 or 19 inch wheel, so they choose 19's for a better fill of the wheel wells, and those few that notice, even fewer have the driving skill to make a significant difference.
